TIME TO BREAK THE SILENCE
After more than 12 months, the Boyertown Alumni Marching Unit is overjoyed to announce our first official performance since all of our lives were changed by the pandemic in March of 2020. Join the Ceremonial Band on April 17th as we perform at Boyertown's Coming out of Hibernation Celebration. We will be performing near the ticket booth of the Colebrookdale railroad Between Durango's and Carmelo's from 11:00 to 11:45. See you then!

The Boyertown Alumni Marching Unit would like to say Thank You to everyone who attended our 16th Annual Holiday Concert. We hope you enjoyed listening and watching as much as we enjoy performing.
Special thanks to Morning Star Fellowship, namely Pastor Chad Stoecker, Travis Moser, and Jen and Kevin Dieser for both your hospitality and your production assistance.
We would also like to express our continued gratitude to the Keystone Fire Company of Boyertown for providing the unit a regular rehearsal space as well as place to park the unit's equipment trailer.

Boyertown's Newest "Bear Fever" Bear Takes Up Residence at The Other Farm Brewing Company
On Sunday, October 20th, BAMU, Boyertown's newest "Bear Fever" bear settled into its new home in front of The Other Farm Brewing Company on East Philadelphia Avenue. A project two years in the making; BAMU was sponsored by the Boyertown Alumni Marching Unit and was skillfully crafted by Mr. Doug Davidheiser. After leading the marching unit through the Boyertown Halloween Parade the previous evening, BAMU was unveiled after a short ceremony to the marching unit's signature song "Saints". Seated atop one of the marching unit's vintage bass drums BAMU can be found playing a trumpet that belonged to unit president Tom McHugh and is also adorned with its very own ARS button in honor of the late Boyertown music legend and Cavalcade of Bands pioneer Arlen R. Saylor.
Many thanks to everyone who helped bring this dream to reality; to Hank Frecon and The Other Farm Brewing Company for providing BAMU a welcoming home; to Doug Davidheiser for your time and talent in the creation of your third "Bear Fever" bear; and special thanks to Jayne McHugh for spearheading this project from the outset.
